September Luncheon

Dawn Mirand, who succeed Superintendent Mark Mondanaro upon his retirement on July 31, 2014, will be the featured speaker at the Ken-Ton Chamber of Commerce luncheon on Friday, September 19, 2014. She will discuss  current programs/curriculums, how businesses can obtain student interns, the school budget process - where do our tax dollars go and the shrinking number of enrollments which has caused closing/consolidation issues, all followed by a brief Q&A.

WHERE: Holiday Inn, 1881 Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst
TIME: 11:30 - registration/networking, Program begins at Noon
COST: $20 - includes hot lunch entree, salad and dessert

Mirand was chosen through a rigorous selection process and, after careful deliberations, was offered a five-year contract. We are confident that Dawn Mirand has aptly demonstrated the leadership skills necessary to continue to move the district forward in the years to come,” states Steve Brooks, vice president of the KTTUFSD Board of Education.
