-The EPA recognizes geothermal systems as the most environmentally friendly, cost effective, and energy efficient heating and cooling technologies available.
-Geothermal will heat and cool a home/building for hundreds annually, not thousands.
-Geothermal systems are recognized by the electric utility community as the best way to reduce our impact on the electrical grid. Although that sounds counterintuitive, it is true because our peak load in WNY typically comes in July due to the peak of AC season. A geo system will provide AC at 80-90% less electricity than conventional systems, greatly reducing the strain on the grid during peak season.
