Speaker Series - Strategic Storytelling with Barb Olsafsky
How to Show Up "On Brand" Using Strategic Storytelling
You know "who" you want your company to be. But is that how you're showing up to the world???
I know firsthand how difficult it can be to put into words what you do - and why people should care - even if it's just explaining it to yourself!
But those words are the backbone of your business.
How can you decide what services and tactics "fit" your brand if you can't articulate what your brand is?
How can you market your business?
How can you close a sale?
How can you delegate?
I developed a Strategic Storytelling process that helped me figure out my words - my key concepts - so I could infuse them into every aspect of my business, and get my message across.
It not only helped me with messaging, but it also had a side effect of helping me to become more efficient in my daily operations, because it was harder to be sidetracked by things shiny object syndrome and advice that might have worked well for other folks but was not in line with my own company's brand.
In this presentation, we'll:
* touch on why you might be struggling to connect with your target audience and drive results.
* see how common practices like "try it out and see what sticks" might be sabotaging your efforts.
* take the first step of the Strategic Storytelling process together - learning how to audit the promotional materials and other content you've already put out into the world, so you can assess whether your brand is currently working for you or against you, and what you might do about it.
Bring a pencil. This is interactive.
